General and performance improvements – What does this mean in Skype for Business Mobile?

Hello Readers

So on the 15th August Microsoft released another update for the Skype for Business Mobile on iOS with following information;

General and performance improvements.

What does this mean? It doesnt state any of the detailed information that Microsoft used to provide about their updates so this got me thinking, what is the last Microsoft rolled out an update with either feature/bug fix details to the Skype for Business Mobile client. As the last 5 updates for mobile have all stated the brief title of General and performance improvements.

Version 6.17 – 15th August 2017 – General and performance improvements

Version 6.16.1 – 25th July 2017 – General and performance improvements

Version 6.16.0 – 12th July 2017 – General and performance improvements

Version 6.15.1 – 11th June 2017 – General and performance improvements

There seems to be bit of pattern emerging in recent updates, as Microsoft used to provide a lot more details about the bug fixes include, features that had been enabled. You have to look at the update from 18th April to be able to obtain more detail about that release. If I continue the version break down Microsoft have slowly moved away from detailed information to “General and performance improvements” statement

Version 6.15 – 24th May 2017 – General and performance improvements and Overide default settings to accept meeting content and video when needed

Version 6.14.1 – 28th April 2017 – General and stability improvements

Version 6.14 – 18th April 2017 – Ability to email a chat conversation, Easily access the native address book from contact list, Sign-in and performance improvements.

So whats does all this mean for Skype for Business Mobile? Are we going to see new feature updates in the client at Ignite? Is Microsoft going to provide detailed information about it updates?

Lets see how this story develops …
